The Financial Planning Process

THE SIX STAGE CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNING PROCESS

Stage 1: We will collect and assess all relevant personal and financial data, and gather all your personal financial information, i.e. Where are you now?

Stage 2: Next we will identify your financial objectives and problems. This includes:

  • Finding out what is important to you
  • What are your aims, ambitions, dreams and desires?
  • Where do you want to go to, where do you want to be?

Stage 3: We will analyse your current situation and confirm where you are compared with where you want to be.

Stage 4: We will then create a plan that will tell you what you need to do to get to where you want to be in life. We may also create a lifetime cashflow forecast that will show you how long your money will last.

Stage 5: We will provide our financial planning recommendations to you and implement the agreed plan.

Stage 6: You will have an Annual Financial Planning Meeting to review the plan in light of any changes in circumstances, objectives, government legislation or market conditions.
